<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The City Auditor's Office is conducting an audit of
the City's towing contract. It is interested in pursuing any supportable
allegations of towing overcharge complaints during the period Jan. 1, 2009
through Feb. 28, 2010. To be "supportable," the office needs written
details of any alleged overcharges including the time of the incident, the
location, the amount charged for recovery of the towed vehicle, the manner of
payment (cash, check, credit card), and evidence (ticket or payment receipts,
cancelled checks, etc) that would clearly show the name of the payee, the date
of payment and the amount paid. Amounts paid in excess of $60 may be
indicative of an overcharge and would have to be reviewed by the auditors.
