As a follow-up to the shootings that occurred at the BP gas station at the corner of Lombardy and Broad over the weekend, the persons involved seem to have been leaving the Impact Center II where a teen dance party occurred.  No alcohol was served at the party. The violence occurred at the time the party was closing.  This matter has received the highest priority from the Richmond Police.  The police have indicated that they will do everything in their power to ensure that there is no further violence at that location.  

The space where the party occurred was being leased, and we hope that no future parties occur.  We will keep you posted if any new information becomes available.
