Dear Fan Resident:

Please note that on February 19th, at about 1:35 a.m., a woman was robbed of her purse at gunpoint at the 00 Block of Plum Street. If you have any information regarding this robbery, please contact the Richmond Police Department.

Please also note that a man was beaten by two other males on February 20th at approximately 2:00 a.m. at 1502 W Main St. Arrests were made following this aggravated assault, but if you have any information, again please contact the Richmond Police Department.

Finally, set forth below is a statement issued by the Richmond Police Department:


Officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to a call of a fight with shots fired outside the BP Gas Station, 1600 West Broad Street at 10:41 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 19. Upon arriving, they encountered a crowd of several dozen people and discovered one individual with gunshot wounds. He was transported to VCU Medical Center where, at last report, he remains in critical but stable condition.
