The Fan District's own Firehouse Theatre Project is offering a "Fan District Night" major discount for neighborhood residents to an upcoming show on March 4!
Fan residents can take advantage of a $10 or 40 percent price reduction - $25 tickets will be made availalble for just $15 - to the Thursday, March 4, performance of Sheila Callaghan's "Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake)" at the Firehouse Theatre, 1609 W. Broad Street, Richmond, Va.

"Crumble" blurs the lines between Mother and those needing mothering, Crumble tells the story of eleven-year old Janice, whose father has recently died, and her devastated mom, who trusts in superior baking skills as the key to healing. While her mother fires up the oven and dreams of Harrison Ford, Janice dreams of Justin Timberlake and compiles a very strange, very explosive Christmas-wish list. Toss a crumbling, mercurial apartment into the mix, and the road to redemption is a twisted one, indeed.

Directed by long-time Firehouse associate Bill Patton, Crumble features Christina Billew, Frank Creasy, Matt Hackman, Lisa Kotula, and Jen Meharg.

Sheila Callaghan’s plays have been produced and developed with Soho Rep, Playwright’s Horizons, South Coast Repertory, Clubbed Thumb, The LARK, Actor’s Theatre of Louisville, New Georges, and Moving Arts, among others. She is the recipient of the Princess Grace Award for emerging artists, a Jerome Fellowship from the Playwright’s Center in Minneapolis, a MacDowell Residency, a 2005 Cherry Lane Mentorship Fellowship, the Susan Smith Blackburn Award, and the prestigious Whiting Award. Her full-length plays include Scab; Crawl Fade to White; Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake); We Are Not These Hands; and Dead City.

To take advantage of this special offer, call our box office at 804-355-2001 or visit the link below and enter "FDA" in the promotional code box when making your purchase. Limit four tickets per purchase.

The Firehouse Theatre has been a proud part of the Fan District since 1993, producing contemporary American theatre in an authentic urban space - the more than 100-year-old Firehouse #10 of the Richmond Fire Department.

If you have never visited the Firehouse, this is your chance to experience it at a great value. If it's been awhile, now is the time to come back!
