[Emailfda] Mentoring and Tutoring Opportunies at Binford Middle School

In recent meetings with the principals of Fox Elementary and Binford Middle
Schools we have been able to identify a variety of volunteer opportunities
for Fan District residents.  Volunteers will be able to mentor elementary
students and/or provide them with academic help.  For volunteers preferring
to work with older students there is a program to assist the Binford faculty
in remediation and tutoring programs.



These opportunities vary in their time commitment and scope.  Some of the
programs will take place during the school day while others will be held
after school or on Saturday.  All volunteers will be provided with the
training and materials necessary to be effective.



There are few activities as rewarding and long lasting as contributing to a
child’s success so please don’t pass up the chance to make a difference!  If
