Subject: Update on Cultural Action Plan Scheduled

 

On Tuesday, September 29, at 5:00pm, the Steering Committee of the
Richmond Region Cultural Action Plan will provide an update on progress
on the Plan's implementation and an opportunity to continue discussion
on issues facing Richmond's arts and cultural community.  This meeting
will be held at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, 1812 West Main
Street.  Parking is available in the parking lot directly behind the
Visual Arts Center and can be entered off the side streets of Allen or
Granby.

 

It is one of a series of public meetings to assure a continuing
community conversation on the implementation and continuing evolution of
the Richmond Region Cultural Action Plan.  Updates will be provided on
restructuring of the Arts Council, the educational collaborative,
creativity in the workplace initiatives, community calendaring, and
dialogues on race and Richmond history.
