Tonight's Community meeting on proposed ballpark in Shockoe Bottom and
Boulevard Gateway projects canceled due to room heating issues at planned
location

 

 

WHAT              The previously scheduled joint community meeting of
Richmond City Councilmen Charles R. Samuels, North Central 2nd District,
Bruce W. Tyler, West End 1st District, and E. Martin "Marty" Jewell, Central
5th District, with the Museum District Association regarding the proposed
Shockoe Center Development, a ballpark and mixed use development in Shockoe
Bottom, and Boulevard Gateway projects, has been canceled due to room
heating issues at the Richmond Public Schools Albert Hill Middle School
Auditorium.

 

                              The meeting was to include a presentation from
the developer of the proposed Shockoe Center Development, Highwoods
Properties. The meeting was organized to provide residents an opportunity to
see the proposed development plans, ask questions, and voice opinions to
Council members. This meeting is free and open to the public and the entire
community is invited and encouraged to attend.

 

                              A new date for the meeting has not been
scheduled.
