*Fan District Association Seeks Grant Proposals*

*The FDA has over $6,000 remaining in its grants budget for the fiscal year
that ends on September 30th, 2009.  The FDA board is seeking proposals for
worthwhile projects that will benefit the Fan community.*

*The grants budget is set aside for the support of groups whose activities
have the potential to enrich the lives of Fan area residents through
operating programs or special capital projects that the FDA itself would not
be in the position to undertake.*

*Some of the projects that the FDA has recently funded include the
playground equipment at Federal Park, the “rain garden” at Binford Middle
School and the whiskey barrel planter project on West Grace Street.*
