 Citizen Comment Sought on Draft Plan for Parks and Recreation

 

Richmond's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will
hold a series of public meetings to give citizens the opportunity to provide
input into the Department's Draft Master Plan.

 

The Department began working on a Master Plan in April 2007 to guide it
through the next 10 years. A draft of the plan has now been completed based
on information collected from an assessment of the Department's parks,
facilities and services, focus group meetings, and a statistically valid
survey of Richmond households. As a final step before presenting the plan to
City Council for adoption, the Department wants to provide citizens with the
opportunity to review the draft and provide comments and additional input.
To complete this citizens' review, the Department has scheduled the
following public meetings for citizens to attend:

 

Tuesday, September 30

The meetings will last approximately one hour. To review a copy of the draft
