Please consider our crazy lights as a beacon----one calling you to action.
Send this on to everyone in your address book who may enjoy our display (not
done by professionals----but then you'll figure that out for yourselves!) 

 

One:  Read the message below

 

Two:  Go to this link below and vote for us (1500 block of Grove), rules are
on the link. Voting is on a scale of 1 - 10.

Three:  Program your GPS for 1500 Grove Ave. Drive by and drop off your
goods---we will empty the box each night at

                  11pm when the lights go off.           

 

Four:  If you would rather drop a check---payable to Central Virginia Food
Bank (mail slot in window of 1510 Grove)

 

Five:  Don't forget to vote!  Every email can vote. Winners make $5000----We
will send the money back to CVFB. 

 

Six:  Forward this and ask your friends to continue forwarding. 

 

 

 

The folks on Grove Ave have gone out of their way

To light up the night with a blinding array

Of LED lights, ropes and pvc piping

Risking falls from high places with some spousal griping

 

Neither electrocution nor brown outs, we haven't a fear

For this season we're asking and we want to be clear

 

Your help is requested in order to feed

Some others, just like us, who may have a need

Bring your canned good in bags, boxes, or case

To the 1500 block of Grove-that's the place

 

Leave your goods then please linger and bask in the glow

Of helping another---even some you may know
