Join the Fan District for National Night Out!
On Tuesday evening, August 5th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
join your friends and neighbors in Meadow Park for National
Night Out. The Fan District will gather in the park as
neighborhoods across the country participate in the nation's
largest annual crime/drug prevention event. National Night
		Out is designed to:
		. heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
		. generate support for, and participation in,
		local anti-crime programs;
		. strengthen neighborhood spirit and
		police-community partnerships;
		. send a message to criminals letting them know
		that neighborhoods are organized
		and fighting back.
To be successful, we need an impressive and spirited
turnout on August 5th, to send the message loud and clear
that..
The residents of the Fan will not tolerate crime in their
neighborhood!
We will have plenty of food, drinks, and ice cream for
everyone. So, come on out and meet your local police
officers and neighborhood leaders, spend an evening in
Meadow Park catching up with old friends, make some new
friends, and most importantly, show everyone that you are
a part of making the Fan District a safe place to work, live,
visit, and play!
We look forward to seeing you, your family, and your
friends on August 5th!
